THE BEST IN URBAN LIVING

THE BLOOMINGDALE LIFE

Bloomingdale is a small residential community in the District of Columbia, located only minutes from downtown and the monuments.

Situated amongst the elm, maple, crape myrtle, and ginko trees lies this quaint community rich in history and architectural charm. The all brick Victorian rowhomes that line the streets were built at the turn of century utilizing exquisite craftmanship and a particular attention to detail.

Straddling the former Boundary Street (now Florida Avenue) Bloomingdale became known for its quiet streets and accessibility. The proximity to Howard University, Catholic University, the Children’s Hospital, historical landmarks, and other commercial venues have made Bloomingdale the ideal “suburb” of Washington.  Steps from restaurants, shops and all that city living has to offer.

Kathleen represents a new generation of real-estate professionals. Since she began her residential real estate career in 2000, she’s been ranked among the top Realtors nationwide. The foundation of her thriving practice is her substantive knowledge about the D.C. market and the complexities of real estate transactions, and her high level of service to every client, including sellers, buyers, and developers alike.

Before joining Compass, Kathleen founded her own successful brokerage, Towne Residential. In moving her group to Compass, she saw the opportunity to focus more of her energy on the parts of the job she loves the most—providing personal attention and careful guidance to each client. In addition to her real estate work, Kathleen is a managing director in Cityscape Development, a D.C.-based residential real estate development company.
